"Britney" is sired by our two-time AHR ‘National Champion Stallion’ and four-time AHR ‘Stallion of the Year’, Arno van het Nieshof. Her dam is our foundation broodmare and our former AHR ‘National Champion Mare’ and National ‘Best of Show’, Belle vande Haflinger Hoev. Therefore, both of Britney’s parents were imported from Holland by Genesis Farm.
Britney was AHR silver classified in 2007. She was scored at 77 points, which is the second highest point total given out at any AHR inspection site that year.
In the fall of 2007, at the GLHA Futurity, Britney won 1st place in the 2-year old draft filly halter class and became the Grand Champion 2-year old draft futurity winner. At the AHR Futurity that same year, she won 2nd place in her 2-year old draft filly halter class and 1st place in the 2-year old draft driving class, earning her the title of Reserve Champion 2-year old draft AHR futurity winner. At the AHR National Show that year, Britney took 1st place in the 2-year old draft mare halter class going on to win the title of ‘Junior National Champion Filly’ and then eventually AHR ‘Reserve National Champion Mare’. With her little sister, By Design of Genesis, by her side, she won 1st place in the draft "Produce of Dam" class on behalf of Belle. The two sisters also helped to earn a 1st place in the draft "Get of Sire" class on behalf of Arno.
In 2008, Britney again earned her share of awards in the show ring. In the draft division, she won 1st place in the AHR Futurity 3-year-old mare class and went on to be named the 2008 AHR Futurity Champion 3-year-old. Britney also won 1st place at the AHR National Show in the 3-year-old mare class and eventually earned the title of ‘Reserve Senior National Champion Draft Mare’. At the GLHA Futurity, in the draft division Britney won 1st place in the 3-year-old Mare class and went on to be named ‘Champion 3-year-old’ at the show!
In March 2009, Britney delivered a filly out of our AHR GOLD Classified stallion, Alfa of Genesis. This filly, "Bombshell of Genesis" was instantaneously special to us because she represented the third generation of our exclusive breeding through the foundation bloodlines that we have selected and imported from Europe.
Bombshell of Genesis, affectionately called ‘Beauty’ after Belle’s maternal grandmother, has been sold to Caraline Cornman of Pennsylvania. She placed 2nd at the 2009 AHR National Show in the weanling filly pleasure class. We are confident that ‘Beauty’ and Caraline will be a great team together and we look forward to seeing them in the show ring!
At the 2009 AHR National Show, Britney placed 1st place in the 4-year-old mare halter class in the draft arena.
Britney has been bred back to our AHR GOLD Classified, 2-time AHR ‘National Champion Stallion’, Alfa of Genesis, for a 2010 foal. Look for Britney at the 2010 shows under harness and saddle!!
